BOSTROM’S AUTO BODY
NATIONAL LIFETIME LIMITED WARRANTY
Bostrom Auto Body hereby provides a Warranty on repairs performed by the shop. It is a Limited Warranty valid for as long as the present owner owns the vehicle stated herein, the person to whom this Warranty is granted and whose name appears herein on the original work order. This is a fragmented four (4) part Limited Warranty, and stipulations pertaining to each fragmented part are stated thereafter.
1) METAL WORK: Bostrom Auto Body provides a LIMITED WARRANTY to include welding and the application of materials utilized in making collision repairs against cracking, flaking, pitting or deterioration, excluding rust repairs. (No warranty, expressed, written or implied on any rust repair for any duration). The shop will repair and repaint, excluding rust repairs, any metal work warranted hereby, at its sole option, when claim is made while the present owner stated herein owns the vehicle, unless caused by or damaged as a result of use, maintenance, other losses, wear and tear and/or care of the vehicle.
2) PAINTING, STRIPES, DECALS: Bostrom Auto Body provides a LIMITED WARRANTY on painting related priming and painting work against solvent blistering, peeling, hazing and excessive loss of pigmentation, and a LIMITED WARRANTY on the application and adhesion of decorative stripes and decals, excluding those defects which are caused by extreme environmental conditions to which the vehicle may be exposed and/or any open blended paint. The shop will re-prime, re-paint, re-stripe, and/or re-decal the specific section or sections of the vehicle warranted hereby, at its sole option, unless caused by or damaged as a result of unreasonable use, maintenance, and/or care of the vehicle or any other losses. Pre-existing paint defects are not covered under this warranty.
3) MECHANICAL REPAIRS: Bostrom Auto Body provides a LIMITED WARRANTY on all mechanical repairs directly pertaining to original collision damage repairs. The shop will re-repair any mechanical assembly or component warranted hereby for any workmanship defects or flaws, unless caused by wear and tear, unreasonable or off road use, maintenance or care of the vehicle, and/or any other losses.
4) PARTS: All parts are warranted by the supplier/manufacturer. The shop will replace any new or used part installed by the shop that fails for as long as the parts manufacturer /supplier warranty the part and labor to install the part. The shop will at its sole option replace any defective warranted part, unless caused by or damaged as a result of unreasonable use, wear and tear, or care of the vehicle and/or any other losses. The parts manufacturer/supplier or representative will determine if failed part is warranty covered. Bostrom Auto Body will assist the customer with seeing if parts are under warranty
Bostrom Auto Body is not responsible for loss of vehicle warranty or damage done as a result of the failure of any part installed.
BOSTROM AUTO BODY will assist in any parts warranty claim. Bostrom Auto Body warranties that all parts are new original equipment manufacturer parts (OEM) unless otherwise specifically noted on the estimate and repair order, (A/M, aftermarket, LKQ, used; REMAN, remanufactured).
This warranty shall be null and void if the repair is altered, adjusted and/or tampered with by any person not specifically authorized by Bostrom Auto Body. This warranty is not transferable. Specifically excluded are incidental costs, such as towing fees, car rental charges, travel expenses or assemblies and components which are not specifically covered by this LIMITED WARRANTY, nor are consequential damages such as damage to other assemblies and components resulting from a defective part or installation of such part installed or repaired during the repair. THIS STATES ALL LIMITED WARRANTIES MADE BY THE REPAIR SHOP and contains the only promises for which it will be responsible.
